My research is focused on the development of methods and devices for rehabilitation of the physically challenged especially for improving hand function and walking.This involves signal processing, electronics, control theory, functional electrical stimulation and processing of EMG signals, hardware and software development, construction of biomedical devices, clinical investigation of medical devices for human subjects according to ISO 14155, documentation, statistics, risk assessment. etc.

Karriere
Min baggrund er civilingeniør (svagstrøm,DTU) med speciale (Ph.D,1997) i
medikoteknik. Jeg har arbejdet i 3 år som udvikler i en dansk medikoteknisk
virksomhed hvorefter et attraktivt fælleseuropæisk projekt gav mulighed for at
rejse til Italien, siden til Holland og England som netværksforsker. P.t. er
jeg ansat i F&U afdelingen ved et af Italiens største
rehabiliteringsinstitutter hvor jeg er ansvarlig for nogle F&U projekter,
elektroniklaboratoriet, studentervejledning samt teknologioverførsel fra
forskning til klinisk praksis.|
